Across North Carolina, healthcare workers go above and beyond the call of duty and their day-to-day responsibilities to make a powerful difference for their patients, colleagues and communities.

To recognize this great work, NCHA teamed up with NC State Athletics to host a nomination campaign honoring healthcare heroes across North Carolina. Two nominees were randomly selected to win prize packages from NC State Athletics. Congratulations to Kelly Cheek, Charge Nurse and Unit Educator for Duke Care Hub, which encompasses the Duke Health System Transfer Center and Duke University Hospital Patient Placement and Ashley Toland, Registered Nurse at Duke Health.
